You are posting so often–it is great and impressive! I always like the videos you share, but the most enticing of those posted here is Gomez & Morticia. i loved that show!
Patti,
Who knows how many times I watched Gomez & Morticia when I was putting this together! Meanwhile, there’s what I call the Blogger’s Dilemma – the balance between posting, commenting, and visiting others … and I currently sense being in the Bermuda Triangle of the Blogger’s Dilemma … but I will make it! Thanks for stopping by for the show.
Hi Frank! For me, the Inspirational Quotes and the Time Lapse video were marvelous! Thanks so much for sharing.
Hey K-Street,
Happy New Year and I hope all is well with you. Thanks for stopping by and watching!
Inspirational quotes – Gomez and Morticia – Skylights!!! – handbell piece.
Happy Cleaning, Frank and enjoy the weekend!!!
Marina.
Wow .. you watched quite the variety. Have a good rest of the weekend, and thanks for visiting.
Good selection of videos. You’ve given me a taste for more of the Addams Family, great show.
Fasab,
I wonder how many people don’t know that Addams Family was on TV … thus not just a movie. BTW – Gomez is one of my favorite characters! Good you enjoyed this.
Agreed, Gomez was a great character especially as portrayed by John Astin in the tv series. And I think you are probably correct in that the younger generation only know the movie versions, which were ok, but not a patch on the original tv series.
Piece of trivia that I’m sure know, the whole idea was created by cartoonist Charles Addams, wonder what they would have called the show if his name had been Bert
Being a big fan of the show, I didn’t see the movie … and your question is in true Fasabian fashion.
Freshly pressed? Which post did I miss Frank?
Colline,
Of all nights, it happened Christmas Eve … around dinner time … and stayed on the front page for 8 days … YIKES. …. but here it is. Thanks for asking.
http://afrankangle.wordpress.com/2012/12/23/
No wonder I missed it
I will check it out now Frank. And congratulations
I had read that one and enjoyed it
Thanks … selected was a surprise as it doesn’t seem to be in their style. Oh well.
Thank you.
I like the Skyfall song but is missing that big moment for me, I feel like it’s missing something to make it great. Loved the timelapse video
Have a nice weekend Frank.
Leo,
In case you didn’t see the movie, their is an opening scene before these opening credits. That said, as soon as I saw the credits, I had to look for it! Thanks for stopping by!
I went with the inspirational quotes too, Frank. My favorite one? “Eleven.”
Elyse,
Thanks for reminding everyone to watch for that one in the video.
Oops. I didn’t think of that (but I am absolutely laughing about it)
Feel free to edit or delete if you think folks are going to go nuts looking for it. Because if they want to go nuts then they should head on over to my post!
I watched the first video and had no idea who James Allen was. So I “googled” him. Now I know. Now I’m a little bit smarter!
Nancy,
… Share? Thanks for visiting.
Interestingly, I still don’t know .. so thanks for going one step further than I.
I just went to Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Allen_(author)
Many thanks!
I love the opening scene from ‘Skyfall.’ Great song. Great movie.
Carrie,
We’re on the same page! Thanks for visiting the closet cleaning.
Curly (Not Curly-Joe!!!) and the Adams’ made my day.
Hansi,
Cheers for you enjoying this two classics, thus glad I was able to spark your day. Thanks for visiting.
Loved the Carillon Choir and accompanying pics, as well as the wonderful dance video. Thanks.
Paradise,
… We played that one several years ago, and it is a beautiful tune. Interesting how the melody and change ringing are blended .. thus very fitting for these images. … and yes, how can the Matt video not make one smile. Many thanks for watching!
I can always count on you for the handbells!
Slowly working through the whole set. Going to finish with the handbells.
Guapo,
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you found something for amusement. I imagined you appreciating the tribute to Gomez and Morticia.
I love Adele so that was the first one I watched and liked. And there can not be enough said for the Addams family! I never did watch the movies though. I love the tv series. I also liked the Skylight one, that was cool!
Jackie,
I[m with you on the Addams Family … meanwhile, you had quite the diverse choices. Thanks for going through the closet.
Curly! Adams Family! And swirling skies and cathedral sounds. Wonderful post!
Mouse,
Thanks for visiting.
Just a plethora of selection here.
Three Stooges had me giggling Frank
GFB,
Alright .. .cheers to another Curly lover. Thanks for visiting.
Hi,
I watched the quotes and the timelapse video, the timelapse was my favourite, it is just wonderful how people put these timelapse videos together for us to enjoy, really nice.
Mags,
Good choices for you .. and thanks for stopping by to rummage through the closet.
That was an interesting choice of 3 Stooges video. They did a movie about the boys back in 2000, with Michael Chiklis playing Curly. He redid that scene, and as a lifelong Stoogeophile, it is an AMAZING re-enactment, with Michael getting every nuance, gesture and “Curlyism” down perfectly! (I haven’t seen the most recent film, so I’ll withhold judgement on those guys.)
The time-lapse is cool, and I WILL be back for the carillon. (Still catching up – almost done! Then my dedicated fans – both of them – can see some new posts!)
Sir John Stoogeophile,
I’ve patiently waiting for your arrival to see this one. Plus, I have been able to successfully uncover some Michael Chikilis as Curly for you … and the scene you mentioned is around the 2 minute mark.Enjoy … an thanks for stopping by.
Oh, Frank, this was a wonderful multi-course feast! From the introspective bells of Divinum Mysterium (a personal fav) to the crazy Curly soup fiasco to the spirit lifting “Where’s Matt” world wide dance celebration, you made my day! I must say that, though I shed some tears of joy over the Matt video, I completely cracked up over the Curly clip. When I was a little girl, my brothers babysat me when my parents would go out. The moment they were gone, we were watching The Three Stooges together. The triumvirate of my childhood TV influences were The Three Stooges, The Little Rascals, and Mighty Mouse. Thanks for a cry and a laugh, just what I needed today!
Lynn,
Wow … that’s quite the range, but it is obvious that each sparked a different moment in your life. Glad I was able to do that … but for me, many thanks for sharing your moments!!!
Congratulations on being accepted onto Freshly Pressed. What an honour! xx
Charlie,
Many thanks.
Curly and the tribute to Gomez and Morticia were my videos of choice Frank. I appreciated Curly’s responsibility with using a firearm to kill his soup and I forgot about Gomez being such an arm-man. Thanks for posting.
Lame,
Those are two great videos involves 2 classic characters. I imagine most of those arm advances involved Tish saying something in French. Thanks for finding some gems in the closet.
Congratulations dear Frank. I love your posts and your video selections. Always it is amazing. Thank you, love, nia
Nia,
Glad you like these … and thanks for visiting.
I always love your bells, but combined with the cathedrals..beautiful. The tribute to Gomez and Morticia though, I always thought they were one of the great love stories!
Did I miss you were Freshly Pressed, so well deserved congratulations.
Val,
Your picks of the handbells and Gomez/Morticia are quite contrast – well, and one that makes me smile.
You visited the FP post before the editors selected it that evening. http://afrankangle.wordpress.com/2012/12/23/on-gifts-2012/ … thanks!
The ones I watched first were the handbell one, the Addams Family one, and the Skyfall one. Happy Weekend, Frank!
Weebs,
I enjoy the variety in your picks. Thanks for stopping by.
Congratulations on your Freshly Pressed.
As for the vids, I’m a sucker for Curly’s fight with the clam soup. That never, ever gets old.
Cayman,
Because you like the Stooges, I’ve used the a few other times. Curly in court gets to me every time. Here ya go. http://afrankangle.wordpress.com/category/entertainment/three-stooges/ …. Thanks for the kind words and for visiting.
Where’s Matt – video – the best for a long time … brilliant – thank you so much – watched twice … love mob dancing .. think it’s a brilliant way to share fun.
Viveka,
Absolutely brilliant … but it also serves as a proclamation about the good in humanity and the commonality across cultures. This video makes me smile, too! Thanks for sharing your joy.
Yes, simple the best – thanks for sharing, Frank.
Congrats on the Freshly Pressed frank – it’s quite a stunner when it happens. I hit that page about 2 years ago which occassioned a tsunami of comments and hits (but I never got even near your 350). The experience kind of spoiled me for a while – in my naivette, I thought the hits would keep coming at that rate (which they didn’t of course)!
Been meaning to tell you that you’ve been doing a bang up job here. This place gets better all the time.
Moe,
Many thanks. I guess Freshly Pressed has been around enough now that I knew it would create a stats bubble in both directions. Thanks for the kind words and for stopping by.
Frank, I need to stop by more often – indeed, I shall!
Please do Moe as topics are all over the map. BTW …. if you get a chance, see this one.

Kellie,
Many thanks … and cheers to your appreciation for the Addams Family. Hope all is going well with you!
