Hi,
As I was reading your post, the first thing I thought of was the Great Pyramid of Egypt, and all of a sudden there it was. 🙂
I would of been a bit disappointed had it of have been left out, surly the most famous of the “Pi” messages. 😀
Great find in the video as well.
A very interesting post.

Welcome first-time commenter. I appreciate that you have taken the time to visit and comment, and hope you return.
Although this video is a good one, personally I like the one on Tau better (linked in this post). Nonetheless, the video sparked the factoid search about Pi. Thanks again.

A great post about π. I tried to find alternatives you hadn’t already figured out, but had to give up. But then I thought about the book: Life of Pi. Which unfortunately isn’t about π. So no I couldn’t add anything really. I watched Darren Aronofsky’s film some time ago. Quite a weird one, but interesting. You keep surprising me!

Otto,
This one was fun, especially once I figured out not to get carried away with formulas. Personally, I liked the music of Tau better than Pi. (Link on this post). Nonetheless, thanks for the kind words and for visiting.

Love this post, Frank! I agree about preferring the Tau music to the Pi music. There is a pizza parlor in Virginia Beach that is also called Pizzeria Pi, and they use the Pi symbol in their sign.

I’m listening to the Pi video as I write this. ..
Loved this, just like the other one. How interesting! “the number Lu Chao holds the Guiness World Record for spending 24 hours and 4 minutes to recite Pi to the 67,890 decimal space” totally blew me away though – I mean, there are some craaaazy people out there…!
Magnum PI wasn’t about pi – oh Frank, love your humour & your intelligence. I truly don’t believe there’s another blog out there quite like yours.
