A tribute to Daffy with Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now
I loved the zany Daffy, and I subscribe to his saying: “I’m so crazy, I don’t know this isn’t possible”. You know what is great about having kids – you can watch cartoons with them that you watched, lo, so many, many years ago

I loved Daffy Duck and I’m actually surprised he only starred in 133 episodes. I would have thought it was 10 times that amount – I must have watched a lot of repeats! xx

Spiced,
When I saw the numbers (including Bugs at #1), I too expected the number to be higher. Nonetheless, Daffy is a classic. Thanks for visiting.

Always liked Daffy more than Donald. Maybe cause he didn’t have a girlfriend.

Wow–75 years of Daffy! Thanks for the retrospective—they don’t make ’em like this anymore.

Weebs,
Correct – they don’t make them anymore like they used to – thus the purpose of this series of posts. See the sidebar Categories > Entertainment > Classic Cartoons for more. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

Love the Saturday cartoons, Frank, as always – Daffy singing Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody! My husband has a contribution for me to add – the composer, Carl Stalling, did most of the music for the Warner Bros. Loony Tunes, especially the Bugs Bunny & Daffy Duck cartoons, and is referred to as “the most famous unknown composer of the 20th Century.” He started out playing in theaters for silent films and was hired by Walt Disney to create music for his animations, then moved on to WB. Here’s a link to him on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0006298/ Enjoy!
