Flashbacks: On the Science-Religion Interchange

I became interested in the interchange between science and religion during my time as A Frank Angle. Here are a few of my favorite posts on the topic. Enjoy, visit as many as you want, and I hope you comment on the post you visited.

  1. (Sigh.) Okay, one MORE time. The kangaroos are NOT supersonic – no WAY are those pouches gonna act as anything but huge speed brakes. I keep tellin’ ya – goats know teleportation! (They know a heck of a LOT of things – why do you think wise old men are called “old goats”? And think of this – Mr. Spock was the font of wisdom on the Enterprise. Spock looks like the Greek god Pan. Pan was a satyr – half-goat. Do I have to draw ya a map?!? YEESH! 😉 )

  2. When I have a little more time I’d like to read each of these, Frank, but I did read the post on miracles. I’m just someone who happens to believe that miracles can occur, and often do. I have my own examples, and I enjoy reading what others have to say. Sometimes I think it’s best to change the word to soften the acceptance. Often “miracle” puts people off, but when someone experiences something like “spontaneous remission,” a Cancer patient doesn’t struggle with words to use. They just accept it with extreme gratitude. I don’t need a label for some of the things I’ve experienced, either. 🙂

Comment with respect.
