The Story
Time – The Musical is an original A Frank Angle production featuring songs about time.

Act 8
Act 8 focuses on songs about short time. Because songs with minute(s) and second(s) are limited, the producer is opening it up to other words as moment, ticks, instant, and others – but beware as words have other meanings outside of the sense of time. Besides pleasing the new producer, an additional challenge for attendees is no duplicates.

      • You are so harsh! I would be able to teleport that 2000 lt yrs in an instant with the help of my genius friend Alan.

        My ball did NOT go into any hazards yesterday. It turned out to be a really nice day in the mid to upper 50s and sunny. My drives were straight, not long. Pitches and chips were decent. Putting was dicey as they had recently aerated and there were leaves, holes, stems, and worm castings. Not the usual hazards. The practice green was under some trees. The margin of error for a 20′ put attempt was about 5′ in any direction.

          Sunday evening we went to a soup supper fund raiser for our local food pantry. Silent auction items were available. One was a guitar signed by Jimmy. I was outbid. 😦

        • It was timely. I added it to a facebook comment I had made a few moments before. I said “I don’t Root for Failure” after I had read a piece about Obama using that line to describe gop efforts for 5 years. They have 19 legislative days left on the calendar. They are trying to come up with ways to avoid dealing with issues such as immigration reform.

          Our pantry is a busy place. Numbers are up there and at all others around. People are in need. Melanie volunteers weekly. We both help maintain the web site.

  8. Ah Frank, I’m going to go a little risque on this one. One of my favorite R&B oldies, “Sixty Minute Man” was recorded in 1951 by Billy Ward and the Dominoes. This record was banned in the 50’s (really!) but is now recognized as one of the most important early rock ‘n roll songs to come out of the R&B tradition. It is also a classic number in the Carolinas as “beach music” that people “shag” (slow jitterbug) to. This video has the lyrics on the screen for your viewing pleasure.   24. Hi Frank. I just got caught up with your posts. Sorry I’m so sluggish but I’m working my butt off on my book (4-6 weeks before its release). Anyway, love the new blog picture and concept. My favorite Onion heading (•Mom breaks into son’s apartment to administer latest flu vaccine). This cracks me up. My adult kids will tell you that I AM THAT MOM. LOL! As to the Congress and the Affordable Care Act, do they not remember what it was like when Medicare D rolled out? It was a freakin’ mess. Did the Democrats try to destroy it even though they didn’t like it?No! They helped theirs states get on board and make it successful for their constituents. We, not them–us, not those people should be the mantra of the day.

      As far as the ACA goes, here’s something from last Friday’s OITS: Republicans using the debacle at healthcare.gov to criticize the Affordable Care Act makes as much sense as Democrats making excuses for healthcare.gov. Meanwhile, a Congressional hearing on the matter is nothing more than political theater.
