On a Trap for Monday

It was a holiday weekend for us, but we weren’t overwhelmed with busy. We spent time dancing, shopping, watching TV, walking, and entertaining my father-in-law for Easter. With Easter being the highest Christian day, the handbell choir played 3 songs at back-to-back services. Here’s a good recording of a short, but energetic song.

Come on now, tell us about your weekend!

We’ve had a streak of warm days, and it appears the streak will continue throughout the week. Therefore, it looks like the start of golf league shouldn’t be delayed again.

Celebrations for the week ahead.

To start your week, here’s a commercial that Viveka shared with me. Enjoy it … and have a good week ahead!

  2. I’m afraid I can’t watch the video. I cannot handle rodents under any circumstances. I really get squeamish! But I can get behind wishing Bulldog a happy birthday! Thank you for that heads up, Frank. I hope Easter was a hope-filled day for your father-in-law and of course, your wife, too, in this first Easter since the loss of their wife and mother. And I know you must have enjoyed the handbell participation today. I have always really loved Easter music. I’ll get read now for Dyngus Day…just as soon as I figure out what that is! 🙂 (We had a nice Easter and I really enjoyed the family gathering this afternoon. Always special).

    • Debra,
Cheers to your family gathering on Easter. How many did attended?

Regarding Bulldog, it’s not his birthday, but Monday is Bulldogs-are-Beautiful Day. …. and I can report that Dyngus Day has nothing to do with rodents.

  3. Even though I am rather rodent-averse, I loved that video, Frank! Hey, on Movie Theater Day, Milton and I are going to be in a theater, but attending a stage play. Just about every day is Movie Theater Day to him. One of my favorite plays in 2013, The Flick, written by Annie Baker, won the Pulitzer for Drama last week. It’s a stage play that’s set in a single screen movie theater. Milton missed that one, but it’s going to be revived late summer/early fall and the producers are trying to get the original cast to reprise their roles. I’ve promised Milton that when it returns, I’ll see it with him. He’s psyched. It’s a gem and about the best of both worlds — stage and screen.
