The Story
Life – The Musical is an original aFa production is a journey featuring songs of about life. Each act features an aspect of life as a theme with music supplied around that theme.
Program (Past Posts)
Act 1: Life
Act 2: Born
Act 3
Act 2 was about being born, so Act 3 celebrates the earliest moment that stays with us forever – one’s name … so song titles must include a proper first name.
EXTRA-CHALLENGE: First come, first serve on the songs AND the names – thus no duplicates of songs or of the name in the song title.
Production Note
To prevent browsers crashing from loading too many videos, please 1) include the song title and artist in your text, and 2) paste the URL as part of your last line (not a new line). The latter will provide a link, thus not embed the actual video … but I don’t mind unembedding, so apologies are not necessary.
Announcement
Ladies and gentleman, aFa Productions considered many songs, but in the end, we bring you a legend doing his version of a classic song. Doing Mustang Sally, let’s hear it for Buddy Guy!
Note: Nobody can use Sally, Sallie, or their plural forms … thus Sal must be a male.

Elyse,
Love a classical addition to the mix. Because I don’t know German, is it possible that he did write it for you, but to him, he was spelling it correctly?

He was actually spelling it correctly; my parents changed it at the suggestion of my great aunt, Elise, who thought the spelling change would keep me from being called Elsie. Sadly she was mistaken.

Having spent a good chunk of time over the years behind a closed door with a bright red light above, I can’t tell you how many times someone has stood outside the door belting this song out. Am sure it is a favourite at Karaoke bars. The door with the red light was a darkroom.
