The month of November makes me feel that life is passing more quickly. In an effort to slow it down, I try to fill the hours more meaningfully. (Henry Rollins)

November comes and November goes,

Have a good month. What captured your attention? Which songs did you like?
I hadn’t heard that John Denver song before. Thanks 🙂

The year is going much too quickly. I leave lovely Bagni di Lucca very soon to return to my other life. I think splitting my life the way I do makes it go even more quickly. I love this time of the year in both places.

Definitely Edgy for me. It was middle child who, when learning to play the guitar years ago, got me hooked on Guns N’ Roses. I do believe I mentioned before, I am not a fan of John Denver, the Carolin No song was not all the bad. I am always impressed with your wide range of music. You would get along with middle child well.

Catherine,
Edgy is fine … but the other version caught me off guard enough to like it. Cheers to Middle Child for enjoying a wide range of music.

Happy November, Frank. I’m here celebrating Crohn’s and colitis month, catching up on blogs while I get my Crohn’s drugs. But otherwise I will celebrate sponges, Frank. Because so few people really take time to do that. 😂

Elyse,
Celebrating the trio of Crohn’s, colitis, and sponges is very close to baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet.

Since it was a day with November rain, I listened to both versions. I agree with Debra. It seems to me that this year is moving at warp speed, Frank.

Lame,
I keep this in mind … Time seemed to move slower when we were young because we were frequently anticipating something … but as we older, our lives are filled with getting things done. Meanwhile, one also needs to remember that time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.

And there is of course Gordon’s Wreck of The Edmund Frizgerald, ‘The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead. When the skies of November turn gloomy’. I’ve been on water, by myself, during snow storms in November. It is both scary and inspiring. November has a quality of light that no other month can match. I as drove yesterday I found myself paying more attention to the sky than the road, but I got home safe and half ass sound.
November 1st brought us our first snow flakes, oh joy. Thanks for November, Frank.
