How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon? (Dr. Seuss)

Give me the cool sexiness of Julie London, Frank. I love her pipes and yeah, she’s eye candy.
I checked out Operation Santa Paws. Thurber was a shelter dog. He was found abandoned at the side of a road in Tiburon, California. It was estimated that he was about 8 months old. My sister pounced on adopting him.

I love Stevie Wonder’s “I Can See the Sun in Late December” and I play George Winston’s “Winter” year round. Who doesn’t love Norah Jones and Julie London? My daughter’s birthday is December 24th, which simply adds to an already very special month. I thoroughly enjoy this month. Thank you for such a wealth of detail, Frank. I am fascinated with all the numerical facts. 🙂

Welcome first-time commenter. Julie London is not only a popular choice in this post, she’s a hit in other posts when I’ve used her. There’s something about the songs from the crooner era that seem timeless.

December for me brings to mind the final two stanzas of the song “Try To Remember” from the musical comedy “The Fantasticks:”
Deep in December it’s nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow
Deep in December it’s nice to remember
Without a hurt, the heart is hollow
Deep in December it’s nice to remember
The fire of September that made you mellow
Deep in December our hearts should remember
Then follow
