Conclusion
Not only were these mails not meant for me, some cybersleuthing discovered the intended receiver … Given this background… and this recent post, there can’t be any doubt these emails were meant for him – thus not me. Thanks to Sherlock, case closed.
But aren’t cyber-hookers a scosh more interesting than vintage watch spam, Frank? Hey, you got a post out of them!

My, that’s quite some evidence there, Frank. I get a few of those. I always wonder how they get me. They’re crafty, aren’t they?

Frankly Frank, I think you need a better firewall. They are spectacularly tacky though. You get way way way better junkmail than I do. Maybe, given my single status I should loosen my firewall a bit, douse the flames.

Val,
But wouldn’t a better firewall limit improving my self esteem?

I love my spam filter, Frank. All I have to do is: click, shift, click, return. Snip, snap, done! Great post, however!

I check my Spam folder looking for things that shouldn’t be there. Then again, it causes one to notice what should be there.

I can honestly state i’ve never received this kind of e-mail. maybe I should look in the spam folder. I do get offers of $800,000 from someone named Kliea who is stranded in Nigeria and all I have to do is send my bank information including routing number and pin. Not nearly as interesting. *sigh*
