The Story
Meals: The Musical is an original aFa production is about an important aspect of daily life.
Whether it is snack, something on the run, a glorious sit-down feast, or something in between and regardless of the time of day, food is a life necessity. There are three aspects to a truly fantastic meal: the food, the occasion, and the company. We know Meals: The Musical is a festive occasion where friends to gather to share wonderful music – thus the acts will focus on what the dining friends will encounter.
Act 1: Meals features song with any of the following in the title: Meal(s), Breakfast, Lunch, Lunchtime, Brunch, Dinner, Dinnertime, Supper, Snack, Snacktime, or Food(s).

To prevent browsers crashing from loading too many videos, please 1) include the song title and artist in your text, and 2) paste the URL as part of your last line (not a new line). Announcement
Ladies and gentleman, many auditioned for the honor of performing Opening Night. Given aFrankangle’s contrarian nature, we start this musical with the traditional first meal of the day by joining nontraditional Frank Zappa at St. Alfonzo’s Pancake Breakfast.
Always start your day with a good breafast. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6-6iooGLuI (Breakfast Blues)
Be sure to read the text of the lyrics as the song progresses.

I have been awaiting 9:30 PM with impatience! And voilà! I fretted about the first act, I must admit. I didn’t know if any type of food would be allowed and here you are offering Pancakes for breakfast. Sent my whole idea out the window. Not cool. That said, I had come up with some good ole Genesis and Supper’s Ready! And of course, I did have to include the Live in Montreal version… 😉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NghJHyoEV7A

Dale,
Your fretting paid off because any food would not have worked, thus the Buzzer video would appear. Yes, I offered pancakes, but I also had a keyword. Meanwhile, so did you … and there’s a Genesis song I didn’t know!

Hoping to be spared the afrankangle gong, here is Pink Floyd “Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast” which is the fifth and final track from the 1970 Pink Floyd album “Atom Heart Mother” written primarily by Nick Mason but credited to the whole group. It is a three-part instrumental. The track features Pink Floyd playing in the background as Alan Styles (a Pink Floyd roadie, who appeared on the back cover of Ummagumma) speaks about the breakfast he is preparing and eating, as well as breakfasts he has had in the past (“Breakfast in Los Angeles. Macrobiotic stuff…”). There are significant breaks before the first and in between all three instrumental parts where only Alan’s muttering and movements, with occasional exterior background noise, are heard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn51ivJPFzw
