  1. I have been awaiting 9:30 PM with impatience! And voilà! I fretted about the first act, I must admit. I didn’t know if any type of food would be allowed and here you are offering Pancakes for breakfast. Sent my whole idea out the window. Not cool. That said, I had come up with some good ole Genesis and Supper’s Ready! And of course, I did have to include the Live in Montreal version… 😉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NghJHyoEV7A

  2. Hoping to be spared the afrankangle gong, here is Pink Floyd “Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast” which is the fifth and final track from the 1970 Pink Floyd album “Atom Heart Mother” written primarily by Nick Mason but credited to the whole group. It is a three-part instrumental. The track features Pink Floyd playing in the background as Alan Styles (a Pink Floyd roadie, who appeared on the back cover of Ummagumma) speaks about the breakfast he is preparing and eating, as well as breakfasts he has had in the past (“Breakfast in Los Angeles. Macrobiotic stuff…”). There are significant breaks before the first and in between all three instrumental parts where only Alan’s muttering and movements, with occasional exterior background noise, are heard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn51ivJPFzw

  4. Well, the play has a wonderful selection of delectable videos. I’m enjoying a great many of them. I liked the song from Frank Zappa. My hubby’s named is Alfonso. hahaha
I’m going for the snacks. I don’t eat sweets but a sweet sultry song to dance cheek to cheek to is delicious anytime. Candy https://youtu.be/sEhjyuDZjGU/ I couldn’t decide if I liked the Manhattan Transfers versions better because they were dressed to the 9’s or Lola Albright – Candy – 1957 https://youtu.be/qSte4PENKxs/ better.

  5. Dear aFrank,
I was disappointed when I saw that Little Shop of Horrors (the movie/musical), It’s Suppertime:
    was taken. 😥
But, fear not I found one. I really don’t know this singer. He sounds a bit depressing in the song but it has the requirements. I hope I do better in the next act. The song is Dinner at Eifght – Rufus Wainwright https://youtu.be/jBr3Fh41H4c
Hope you like it … Have a GREAT weekend …!!!
