April 2, 1977 – that was the day of our wedding in a Cleveland (Ohio) suburb. It was cross-state from my home, but a good group of my family and friends attended.
I graduated the previous June, then came to Cincinnati for my first job. She graduated a few weeks before the wedding, then joined me in Cincinnati after our honeymoon in Hilton Head, SC.
Since then, she knows I love trivia – or in her terms – useless information – this is the perfect post for our celebration – more useless information the number 39 in one place than one ever imagined. Yep – I’m quite the romantic.

I just realized that I viewed the earlier, Robert Donat version, probably in the early ’50s. The stagecoach didn’t always reach my little town on time. As a 6 to 10-year-old, it was ‘intriguing’ – one of the better WWII movies floating around. I’d be interested to see how they’ve later adapted it, especially in the 2002 version. ❓

Thank you. Last week was a whirlwind, but #39 was a good one. For my wife’s first Monday off, we hope to go into the city so she can see (for the first time) the festivities for the start of baseball season. A huge event here. The weather is a little cool, but warm enough.
