Cincinnati is blessed that ArtWorks has added over 120 murals throughout the city – many of which are downtown. Along comes BLINK, which adds murals 10 murals to the collection by artists from Belgium, Brazil, England, Lithuania, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Peru, Spain, and the United States. Enjoy the ones I saw.
We didn’t see all the murals that evening, but here’s a glimpse.

I’m going to have to make a trip to Cincinnati just to see these murals. They’re amazing. And while I’m there, I’d of course have to sample some of the local beers. 😁

Carrie,
Now there’s a good trip for you. Rhinegeist is Cincinnati’s largest craft brewer (probably found in your area) … and their facility is along the journey. So is Taft Ale House.

I have to try the BLINK page again, it didn’t work when I clicked on it.
I dig Roy Lichtenstein, so I’m partial to a couple murals on here. But honestly, all soo good. Love it!

Marc,
Glad you found some interesting bits here. Meanwhile, the BLINK site (unknown to me) recently changed the URL for the page I wanted … link is now fixed for you to see.

I love seeing murals up on the side faces of old buildings, or one may just pop up in that tunnel you walk in, the artwork looks alive, and just watching the work progress is amazing.

Catherine,
Glad you enjoy seeing murals … especially on old buildings. To me, they bring life to a neighborhood. Cincinnati has some wonderful murals, yet I know other cities have embraced them too.

I just tried the BLINK page and it didn’t work for me either. I’d especially like to see the Roy Lichtenstein, who’s a hoot and a favorite of mine, particularly his painting “Bedroom At Arles.” http://lichtensteinpaintings.com/bedroom-at-arles/

Tim,
Glad that this post inspired you to see more from Lichtenstein. Meanwhile, the BLINK link now works.

Karen,
Oh yes, ArtWorks themselves have done over 100 … I think closer to 125. I still have a lot to see!

I have nothing new and original to say! I just repeat what I say each time. These murals are treasures! I am such an admirer!

Debra,
Just think … I’ve only captured a small percentage of them! I was looking at one last night thinking I need to return to it in order to capture it for a post!
BTW … Here’s a Where’s Waldo exercise. In one of the images, the artist is still working on the mural.

Isadora,
The murals in this city are wonderful. I have featured some of them in their own posts. BLINK was a fabulous event, so it may return in 2019.

I saw some of those BLINK posts. I will be back to see more. I really enjoyed them. Street artists are unusual artists. The fact that they can work on those surfaces plus do it on such a large scale is amazing. Thanks for directing me to your fabulous posts on Ohio. 😎
