Welcome to Pronouns: The Musical.
Some may ask, “Pronouns?”, but we at A Frank Angle say, “Why not pronouns!”
A subset of nouns, pronouns serve as a substitute for nouns and noun phrases. These bits of linguistics and grammar are versatile and can almost refer to anything.
Although pronouns can be personal, objective, possessive, indefinite, relative, intensive, demonstrative, interrogative, reflexive, and reciprocal, this musical extravaganza focuses on selected pronouns.

Welcome to the latest musical by aFa Productions – Pronouns: The Musical.
To some of us, them is similar to they because both are opposites of us. They and them are both pronouns. They and them are both third-person in reference – but they is a subject pronoun while them is an object pronoun. That’s enough grammar, so let’s get to the music.
He was recognized as a skilled drummer who played with many greats. Although he went on to have some solo recordings, those of us who remember the claymation California Raisins commercials probably didn’t know he was the lead vocalist. Because I loved this song during my youth, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use this song to introduce Act 11. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s hear some loud cheers for Them Changes by the great Buddy Miles.

Way to get us started with a tune I don’t know (but one on my list). The country twang initially reminded of songs I would hear on the jukebox at my parent’s bar. … then it smooths out into more crooner type before back to a bit of country. Interesting and likeable!

Frank, I have a play list on Spotify with 1172 songs on it. Not one of them had ‘them’ in the title. ‘morning, Frank. Some great choices here for “them.” And like you, I didn’t win at Lottery either…oh well, it would have been a whole different set of problems to deal with and I’m just now getting a handle on the ones I currently have. Originally, I thought I’d suggest Bastille’s “Send Them Off!” (I really like this artist) but then decided it just wasn’t destined to be a part of today’s morning groove. So instead, I’ll going with a little tip of the hat to our northern neighbors who have had to put up with a lot of abuse from the current White House occupant and choose Rush’s “Wish Them Well.” Though popular with millions, Rush has been scorned by the critics throughout their long career. Well now, Dale saved you. Now I know why The Producer was frantically sending me text messages, which I tend to ignore when I’m away from the house. Ray Charles is a good one. Definitely a Foxtrot sound – but a challenging when for a dance because it is on the slow side. Good tempo for West Coast Swing, but for me, it doesn’t totally have a westie feel. Nonetheless, good choice!
