  1. Robin’s photography is splendid and the shadow theme you integrated here was masterful. I actually like the King quote the most and the photo right after the Hawthorne quote –
But each section and each photo was a cohesive piece

  3. Liked the composition and angling in the pot in the window photo, also the echoing effect of the pots in the foreground. Might purchase that one. Really liked the Helen Keller quote.

    • Marina,
Glad you enjoyed this one — and I’m glad you saw. After all, we’ve collaborated multiple times!

Thanks for the two songs. I favor Blythe’s jazz … but when it comes to shadows, Cat Steven’s Moonshadow always comes to mind.

  5. I have never heard this particular Lincoln quote, Frank. It fits so well, too. The photos are spectacular. And thank you for “The Shadow knows…” My mom and dad used to quote that radio show all the time. 🙂

  6. V-E-R-Y impressive, Frank!!! And those quotes …. made me stop to think about each and every one of them. As in chasing the light, it is also fun chasing the shadow. The “special effects” that are created sometimes elicit an “oh wow” from the photographer. Loved loved loved the combination of your words and Robin’s images. What a fascinating, delightful post! Thank you!
