  1. Good morning. I made it and I’m smiling 😉
So I won’t lie, I didn’t think I really knew any Fleetwood Mac songs, so I did a quick googly Google and discovered that one of my most favourite songs ever is theirs, except I only knew the Eva Cassidy version which I’ve sung many, many times. So you learn something new around here! here’s “Songbird”

    Many hugs 💜

  2. Cincy,

I was not the biggest Fleetwood Mac fan growing up. I dig them just fine but my jams do not have a ‘second level’ as with other bands. That said, even if I was a bigger fan, I still believe “Don’t Stop” would have been my choice. It’s a song that takes me all the way back 1992. The Clinton/Gore campaign used it and I remember the hopeful chord it struck at the time. Those were the days. https://youtu.be/Tm0nopK1BQM

  3. This is like trying to pick out my favorite piece of chocolate. One of my all time favorite groups. My choice today is “Silver Springs”. From the opening piano keys to the guitar solo to the lyrics sung so hauntingly beautiful, this is a song whose words and chorus touch the heart. If you watch the video, the look they share near the end of the song, I think tells a story all it’s own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDwi-8n054s

  4. Happy Saturday morning. Sorry I’m late (a dog that decided he wanted to romp outside in the midst of a 10″ snowstorm at 3 AM and I’m pretty groggy today). Anywho…all the songs I initially thought of have been used. IMHO the Rumors album was their best work, despite the insanity of Lindsey Buckingham (that guy is an absolute nut bar!).
Anywho how about Little Lies? https://youtu.be/uCGD9dT12C0
Aretha…can’t wait for THAT concert. The Queen of Soul should make for some awesome listening.
And for the record, Adam Lambert is joining Roger Taylor & Brian May tomorrow night. It just won’t be the same without Freddie but I’ll take it. 🎵

  5. I still can’t find what I was looking for, but this was a huge, huge hit back in the day (Sara): https://youtu.be/K1jQQ4DTov0

I mean, with Stevie Nicks alone having written over 50 top 40 songs, and then including songs by Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham that made the charts, I think doubt if you’ll run out of hits… (Typically I’m not a “hits” person, but since I didn’t really follow this band much, that’s what I know – I did have a roommate who had a huge crush on Stevie, though…)

  6. I LOVE Fleetwood Mac…Gypsy is one of my all time favorite songs a well as, Silver Springs. Her wail on that will eternally bring me to my knees. Every girl who’s loved someone down to their socks relates to that tune. I’m tearing thinking of it, even as I write.

Stevie Nicks. Am I being cheesy if I say…she rocks? 🙂
