  1. Cincy,

I have like . . fifty Carole King songs in tow, but for the sake of the rules . . thank goodness one is all I need. But really, King was one of my first female vocalist crushes. She left an indelible impression on so many who would follow in her footsteps.

She had stage fright, which made touring damn near impossible early in her career. Over time, she overcame it and even starred in a Broadway play decades later. What a woman!

So many choices . . but I went with one to which the weather in my locale inspired. It’s dark, wet and gloomy outside, so the classic- a Monday morning standard if ever there was one- “It’s Too Late” will abide just fine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkKxmnrRVHo

  2. Wow. Haven’t even heard of this one. I did think of you, though, Frank, when listening to music on Youtube and Sound of Silence by Disturbed came on. When it finished, my daughter called from the other room, “Can you play that one again? It was magical.”
