On the Final Tidbits from Eastern Europe

For the final post in this series, here’s a potpourri of images.

Look closely for the street performer.

Trdelniks are abundant in Prague. These hollow, toasted pastries can be lined with various creams, filled with fruits and whipped cream, and even stuffed with mac n cheese.

…. or out a hotel window in Krakow …

…. even through the front window of the bus.

This is the last of the series about our travels to Eastern Europe with a Rick Steves tour. Not only was the tour company outstanding, this region of the world is definitely worth the visit. 1. I’m glad to hear you went to my hometown – Krakow. Eastern Europe can make for an unusual holiday. Thanks for writing about this part of the world 🙂

  2. Cincy,

Those buildings appear as if they’re imploding, that’s wild. Like something out of a Dali painting.

Trdelniks look tasty. And they’re extremely versatile, I dig that.

Lovely tour on the last go round for this adventure!

  4. Once upon a time I was there, with my Dad… it was unforgetable time in Prague… But not a free country at that time… So many things changed in the world… Everything stayed in my memories… But music never changes dear Frank, this is great post, Thank you, almost took me to there… Love, nia

  5. What a memorable trip you took, Frank. I am sure I am repeating myself, but my son visited Prague a few years ago and was so enthralled. I looked at hundreds of photos with him to back up his claim. LOL! All very beautiful, but I’m most “envious” of the history you encountered. I’ve enjoyed what you have shared with us. Thank you for the nice re-cap!

    • Debra,
I recall your son visiting Prague. Surely a beautiful city, and given your love for history, anywhere in Europe would be fascinating! Thanks for coming along with me on this trip.
