Trdelniks are abundant in Prague. These hollow, toasted pastries can be lined with various creams, filled with fruits and whipped cream, and even stuffed with mac n cheese.

This is the last of the series about our travels to Eastern Europe with a Rick Steves tour. Not only was the tour company outstanding, this region of the world is definitely worth the visit. It was a fun tour – and I enjoyed posting about it. Now about that moon. It’s a picture – not a painting. I took “Two Moons Over Krakow” picture from our hotel room. I remember looking out the window, then rushing to get the camera.

Seems there are numerous torture museums throughout Europe. Also saw some in our recent trip to Central America. But yes – getting the willies is understandable.

Those buildings appear as if they’re imploding, that’s wild. Like something out of a Dali painting.
Trdelniks look tasty. And they’re extremely versatile, I dig that.

Now that’s an interesting way to think about the Dancing Towers. It was a long walk to and them, but we enjoyed the stroll. Agree – the Trdelniks are versatile – and if I ever return to Prague, I won’t holdout for the mac n cheese one.

The Mac n Cheese one looked wonderful – but I can’t recall why they didn’t have it at the time.

It sounds heavenly.
6-7 now. St Louis came up so small in that game last night. I dozed off when it was 2-0 because it felt as if it was 10-0. Woke up at the horn to 5-1. All we can hope is that St Louis has their road mojo going big time. They will need every bit of it to have a chance.

Yep. The boys have done their rooms and will do what I ask them when I ask them. The rest, they are not really sure where I want stuff.
And my working 9-12 hour days is not helping this go faster. Of course, technically, instead of blogging and exchanging comments and trying to read a few posts, I could be doing stuff. But I finished at 11:30 last night so by the time I wound down and went to bed, it was close to 1. Needless to say, I am not particularly energetic yet.
Am working at 4 and need to run some errands to boot! Eesh. Never ending.

Once upon a time I was there, with my Dad… it was unforgetable time in Prague… But not a free country at that time… So many things changed in the world… Everything stayed in my memories… But music never changes dear Frank, this is great post, Thank you, almost took me to there… Love, nia

Prague is a beautiful city. We knew about Fred & Ginger, but it was a long walk from our hotel. But hey – we saw a lot on the entire journey.

What a memorable trip you took, Frank. I am sure I am repeating myself, but my son visited Prague a few years ago and was so enthralled. I looked at hundreds of photos with him to back up his claim. LOL! All very beautiful, but I’m most “envious” of the history you encountered. I’ve enjoyed what you have shared with us. Thank you for the nice re-cap!
