On a Weekend Concert: The Guess Who and Friends

The Guess Who and Friends

The Producer’s Guidelines

Only songs performed by any of the following: The Guess Who, Burton Cummings, Chad Allen, Chad Allen and the Expression, Brave Belt, and Bachman-Turner Overdrive (preferably limited except for Day 2)

  • No duplicate songs
  • Include the song title in your introduction text so others can see it
  • One song per person on Day 1, unlimited on Day 2
  • To prevent browsers crashing from loading too many videos, please paste the URL as part of your last line (not a new line) – (I do not mind unembedding, so no  apologies are necessary)

Note: Return on Day 2 to submit more songs without limits. (My typical signal is posting a song for all attendees.)

“Rain Dance”

Next Concert: The Ladies: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, & Julie London James Brown (16th or 23rd November)

Past Concerts (Category): Beatles, Ex-Beatles, Moody Blues, Queen, Neil Diamond, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Elton John, Billy Joel, Crosby Stills Nash & Young (the group), Doobie Brothers, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Journey, Prince

  1. Yo Cincy,

    Firstly, Coach Belichick says hello.

Secondly, this wasn’t my wheelhouse, but I came up with a few ideas and then I whittled it down from there so’s to come atcha with some semblance of knowing what in the hell I was gonna dish up.

Thirdly, I went with the Guess Who’s first hit stateside. “These Eyes” is a very underrated song- I think- in spite of its huge success at the time . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3LTmDUAhMM

  2. Frank, Love Rain Dance! So many really great songs to choose from. I’m surprised there’s no BTO, yet, or the Guess Who biggie. I’ll try to return tomorrow with more. Love these guys!!!
Thank you for this wonderful concert!
