Hey hey … thanks for coming over – and welcome first-time commenter. These weekend concerts are a new thing here (this is the third). Good decision not submitting Go Now because that would have introduced you to The Producer (a fellow whose shorts are full of burrs). Good morning!
Okay so Frank knows that I, (even being an 80s child, but to be fair a 90s teenager) I had no idea who the Moody Blues were lol.
But after a quick little Googly Google I realised I knew ONE song.
I thought for sure if I didn’t get here early someone would have already snapped it up. But they haven’t!
So I am choosing Nights in White Satin. Classic and so sweet and romantic. https://youtu.be/9muzyOd4Lh8. I actually adore the lyrics. They are beautiful and speak to my little poet inside so happy to be able to add it here. Also I’ll be doing some Moody Blues homework after this…

Heck, I just realized they didn’t write it, but they did popularize it. Nonetheless it was done by the band as a whole, The Moody Blues. Lots of interesting history behind this song. The front man who sang on the original recording, left the band. He eventually turfed up in Wings!

Thanks! Right now I am playing with electronics (mostly an analog modular synth) and just doing little ditties, but someday I want to start doing synth versions of my classical music, like the ring tone.

You made it! Your presence delivered a smile for my morning … and I think of the opener’s title. 🙂 Hopefully you noticed the next concert listed below the opening song. Concerts starting time is perfect for you … 1 AM (Eastern US)
A wonderful song – and one that I haven’t heard in some time. Thanks. Plus, you’ve given me a chance to include to submit one honoring your return. … Question – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmOZFAYeurY

I wonder why the video appeared. I didn’t put the link in a new paragraph… I hope it can be corrected! Meantime, I haven’t seen ‘Question’ mentioned… or was it?

I scratched my head when looking at the your comment on my dashboard. It even included some gibberish (to me). I noticed you had the coding, so I wondering if that did it. I always say that after the last period, SPACE then paste the URL, then SPACE. (No coding). Meanwhile, I cleaned up the gibberish and removed the comment. Plus, during my initial reply, you accidentally went to Spam, so I retrieved, and now you are Array (for whatever reason).

PS: I linked Question to you in the comment. 🙂 It’s actually two separate songs that they merged into one.

Certainly familiar with the name of the band, but couldn’t tell you any songs. I guess this is my chance to get acquainted!

Betsy,
Most of the hits were probably before your time – so that’s ok. However, there are many good songs on this post. Plus, one more just for you – The Voice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20W4slP2PGg
