The Beatles
The Producer’s Guidelines
- Only songs by entire group – The Beatles
- Songs by individual members are unacceptable
- Advise staying away from group songs done by the individuals
- No duplicate songs
- Include the song title in your introduction text so others can see it
- To prevent browsers crashing from loading too many videos, please paste the URL as part of your last line (not a new line) – (I do not mind unembedding, so apologies are not necessary)
Picking the opening act for this series was easy – but selecting the opening song was very difficult. Enjoy Revolution.

Good morning! My choice is With a Little Help From My Friends.
I loooove this song. But….I wasn’t sure if was allowed to post my favourite version which is the Joe Cocker version, gives me much nostalgia from my childhood watching The Wonder Years. But I will be a good girl (ahem) and abide by your rules and so here is the original.
So happy to have time to be here.
Missed you guys! https://youtu.be/SkyqRP8S93Y

Another great choice that that not only perfect for the concert, it also is a song that fits what I’ve been doing in my little corner of the world for 10+ years. Well done! … On the other hand, although the Joe Cocker version is outstanding, glad you stayed away from it. I was going to post it in this response, but The Producer gave him the look and pointed to the name of the headliners – but I did listen to it because he couldn’t stop me from doing that!

Hope my selection is OK.

Well, I’m off to listen to the other songs.

Good one and yes … beautifully done. Regarding #3, here’s a good example. The Producer would have added an extra burr to his shorts if you would have submitted a video of McCartney doing this song on his last tour. Yes, he wrote it. Yes, he sings it … but that would have been with his band, not the Fab Four.

Yes, I followed Isadora over here (she is a good lady :)) but recognized most of the people who liked or commented on the post. There are tons of Beatles songs, and the amazing thing is that most of them are great. The second amazing thing is how far they vary, from Love Me Do to the ones I posted to Across the Universe – such a wide range over those 6 or 7 years.

The range of Beatles songs is amazing. Amazing to think about the odds of those four getting together. … and to think that 3 of the 4 had many musical contributions after their time in the Fab Four. (That’s the next concert).
