  4. One song per person on Day 1, unlimited on Day 2
  5. To prevent browsers crashing from loading too many videos, please paste the URL as part of your last line (not a new line) – (I do not mind unembedding, so no  apologies are necessary)

Note: Return on Day 2 to submit more songs without limits. (My typical signal is posting a song for all attendees.)

  1. Cincy,

I went with one that drove home that old school vibe. In this case, the music of old Habana, where lyrics weep over the idea that you really can’t go home again. Estefan’s dream was to pen a Spanish language album in honor of her abuelita, who was a poet and taught her the old Cuban songs. Her third album, “Mi Tierra” pays homage to her roots, and it is the song of the same name that I choose for your concert . . .Mi Tierra . .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWAWQmhqWGo .

    • Resa,
Thank you. Actually that wasn’t my first choice for the opener, but it was in my mind when I was putting this together. Oh well … but it works … and it showcases her fun, bouncy style.
